Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, as well as other necessary matters, regarding the use of the Stellog service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated by Tayco (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

Article 1-2 (Business Information)

In accordance with Articles 10 and 13 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company displays the following information within the Service for easy reference by users:

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

1. "Service" means all services of Stellog, including astrological destiny analysis, destiny report generation, and Cosmos, provided by the Company.
2. "User" or "Member" means a person who enters into a service agreement with the Company in accordance with these Terms and uses the services provided by the Company.
3. "Star Flakes" means service-only digital credits used for paid services within the Service, and are divided into Star Flakes purchased for a fee (hereinafter "Paid Star Flakes") and Star Flakes granted free of charge through events, promotions, bonuses, etc. (hereinafter "Free Star Flakes"). Bonus Star Flakes included with a Star Flakes product and Star Flakes received as a Top-up Bonus are Free Star Flakes.
4. "Destiny Report" means an in-depth analysis report generated for each individual using AI technology. Hereinafter, Destiny Reports and other paid analysis reports are collectively referred to as "Reports".
5. "Traveler" means a profile of an analysis subject registered by a user in the Service.
6. "Membership" means a paid product that provides the benefits set out in Article 9-2, such as Report discounts, Membership-only services, and Report Vouchers, for a certain period. There are two types of Membership: a "Subscription", which renews automatically by Recurring Payment, and a "Fixed-Term Membership", which lasts only for a set period and does not renew automatically.
7. "Report Voucher" means a voucher with which 1 Report can be generated without Star Flakes. The Reports for which Report Vouchers can be used are displayed on the Service screen, and 1 Report Voucher generates 1 Report regardless of the price of the Report.
8. "Cosmos Ticket" means a ticket with which 1 Cosmos question can be asked without Star Flakes. Report Vouchers and Cosmos Tickets are collectively referred to as "Vouchers".
9. "Unlimited Cosmos Pass (1 day)" (hereinafter "Unlimited Cosmos Pass") means a paid product with which Cosmos questions can be asked with no limit on their number for 24 hours from the time of purchase.
10. "Top-up Bonus" means a benefit under which, when a Star Flakes product is paid for, additional Free Star Flakes are granted in an amount equal to the base quantity of that product (excluding bonus Star Flakes included with the product) multiplied by a set rate.
11. "Recurring Payment" means automatic payment of the Membership fee at set intervals using the payment method registered by the user.
12. "Chart for Another Date" means a paid product that opens the chart for one date and time other than the present on the Current Sky, My Transits, and Progressed Chart screens (Article 9-6).

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

1. The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the initial screen and settings page of the Service so that users can easily know them.
2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws and regulations such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
3. When the Company amends the Terms, it shall specify the effective date and reason for amendment and notify from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date together with the current Terms. However, if the amendment is unfavorable to users, it shall be notified from 30 days before the effective date and individually notified through electronic means such as email.
4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue using the Service and terminate the service agreement. If the user does not express their intention to refuse until the effective date of the amended Terms, they are deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Member Registration and Establishment of Service Agreement)

1. The service agreement is concluded when a user agrees to the contents of these Terms, applies to register as a member, and the Company approves the application.
2. When registering as a member, you must provide information specified by the Company, such as email address, password, and name. If you register with a Kakao, Google, or Apple account, the Company receives the information specified in the Privacy Policy from that provider.
3. The Company may refuse approval or terminate the service agreement after the fact for applications that fall under any of the following:
   • When applying using another person's name
   • When false information is entered or required information is not entered
   • When the applicant is under 14 years of age (under 16 for residents of the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland)
   • When approval is impossible due to the user's fault or when applying in violation of other prescribed matters
   • When applying for the purpose of disrupting public order or good morals
4. By continuing on the sign-up screen, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are 14 or older (16 or older for residents of the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland). Consent to receive promotional messages such as discount and event news is optional, and you can use the Service without it.

Article 5 (Provision and Modification of Service)

1. The Company performs the following tasks:
   • Providing free astrological destiny analysis services
   • Providing paid Report generation services (using Star Flakes or Report Vouchers)
   • Charts for Another Date (using Star Flakes or direct payment)
   • Cosmos (using Cosmos Tickets, the Unlimited Cosmos Pass, or Star Flakes)
   • Membership
   • Providing traveler profile management functions
   • Other services determined by the Company

   Some services (e.g., MBTI analysis) are available only to Membership users, and this is indicated on the screen of the relevant service.

2. The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. However, the Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to technical needs such as service facility inspection or the Company's circumstances.
3. The Company may modify all or part of the services being provided if there is a reasonable reason, depending on operational or technical needs.
4. If there are changes to the content, usage method, or usage time of the Service, the reason for the change, the content of the changed service, and the provision date are posted on the initial screen of the service before the change.

Article 6 (Suspension of Service)

1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in cases such as maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication equipment such as computers, communication interruption, AI model inspection, or for reasonable operational reasons.
2. The Company compensates for damages suffered by users or third parties due to temporary suspension of service provision for reasons stated in paragraph 1. However, this does not apply if the Company proves that there was no intent or negligence.
3. If the Service cannot be provided due to reasons such as a change of business type, discontinuation of the business, or a merger between companies, the Company shall post the termination date, the reason for termination, and how remaining Paid Star Flakes and paid products with a remaining usage period will be refunded on the Service screen, and notify users individually by electronic means such as email, at least 30 days before the termination date. The Company shall protect users in accordance with relevant laws such as the Framework Act on Consumers and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and shall refund remaining Paid Star Flakes in accordance with Article 9 and the Refund Policy.

Article 7 (Purchase Application and Procedure)

1. Users apply for purchase within the Service using the following or similar methods:
   • Selecting the product to purchase, such as Star Flakes, Membership, or the Unlimited Cosmos Pass
   • Confirming payment information (for a Membership Subscription, this includes the fee; if there is a first-month discount, the discount price, the regular price, and the date from which the regular price applies; the billing cycle; the next payment date; and how to cancel)
   • For a product for which withdrawal of the order is restricted, confirming that fact
   • Agreeing to terms and applying for purchase
   • Selecting payment method and making payment
2. The Company may refuse approval for purchase applications that fall under any of the following:
   • When the application contains false information, omissions, or errors
   • When approving the purchase application would significantly hinder the Company's technology

Article 8 (Payment Method)

1. Payment methods when using services such as purchasing Star Flakes or Membership are as follows:
   • Web (Korean checkout): Payment in Korean won through the Toss Payments checkout (credit/debit cards and other payment methods offered in the checkout). Membership Subscriptions are paid by Recurring Payment.
   • Web (international checkout, Global checkout): Payment in US dollars through Toss Payments (cards issued outside Korea, PayPal, and other payment methods offered in the checkout). In the international checkout, only products designated by the Company are sold, and Membership is sold only as a Fixed-Term Membership.
   • Android app: Google Play in-app purchase (Google Play Recurring Payment for Membership Subscriptions)
   • Direct payment for Reports and Charts for Another Date (web): Payment for 1 Report or 1 Chart for Another Date without using Star Flakes. For payments in Korea, payment is made in Korean won through Toss Payments; for payments from outside Korea, payment is made in US dollars through PayPal. PayPal payment and direct payment for Charts for Another Date are offered from a date determined by the Company.
   • Other payment methods additionally provided by the Company
2. For payments made through Google Play, the currency of the payment amount and the payment procedure follow the rules of Google Play, and payment cancellations and refunds follow the Refund Policy.
3. The Company may verify whether the user has legitimate authority to use the payment method and may suspend or cancel the transaction if necessary.

Article 9 (Use and Validity Period of Star Flakes)

1. Star Flakes are used when using paid features within the Service, such as Report generation and Cosmos. Bonus Star Flakes included with a Star Flakes product and Star Flakes received as a Top-up Bonus are deemed Free Star Flakes.
2. Paid Star Flakes are valid for 5 years from the purchase date (time of payment), and Free Star Flakes are valid for the period notified when they are granted (1 year from the grant date if no period is notified).
3. The Company may change the validity period according to the service operation policy, and in such cases, it will be announced in advance. However, the Company will not shorten the validity period of Star Flakes already granted to the user's disadvantage.
4. Upon member withdrawal (account deletion), Free Star Flakes expire. Users may request a refund of remaining Paid Star Flakes in accordance with the Refund Policy, and are asked to do so before withdrawing.
5. If the Company terminates the Service, remaining Paid Star Flakes will be refunded in accordance with Article 6(3) and the Refund Policy.
6. Star Flakes cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash.
7. Refunds of Star Flakes due to a simple change of mind (withdrawal of the order) may be requested within 7 days from the purchase date for the unused portion of the purchased Star Flakes. Detailed criteria, methods, and periods, including refunds under paragraphs 4 and 5 and refunds due to reasons attributable to the Company, follow the separate Refund Policy.
8. When Star Flakes are refunded, the refund is made to the payment method used at the time of purchase. However, if a refund to the original payment method is not possible due to termination of the Service or other reasons, the refund will be made by a method the Company provides.

Article 9-2 (Membership)

1. The types of Membership sold by the Company are as follows. Prices and sales channels are displayed on the product screen.
   • Monthly Subscription: Renews automatically by Recurring Payment at 1-month intervals. A first-month discount price may be applied only once, at a user's first joining, and the regular price is charged from the following payment onward.
   • Yearly Subscription: Renews automatically by Recurring Payment at 1-year intervals.
   • Fixed-Term Membership (international checkout): Used for 6 months or 1 year and does not renew automatically. If it is purchased again while in use, the new period is added after the remaining period.
2. Membership users receive the following benefits during the usage period. The benefits are the same regardless of the payment channel.
   • Report discount: use of Reports designated by the Company at 50% of the list price
   • Membership-only services: use of Membership-only services designated by the Company at no additional cost
   • Free Charts for Another Date: use of Charts for Another Date at no additional cost during the usage period (Article 9-6(6))
   • Daily free use: free use of Daily Fortune, journal replies (A reply from the stars), and Cosmos, once each per day per account
   • Check-in reward: 5 Star Flakes for each daily check-in (1 for users without a Membership)
   • Report Vouchers: 1 every month, counted from the date of joining (including the first month). When joining, users of a Yearly Subscription or a 1-year Fixed-Term Membership receive 2 additional bonus Report Vouchers, and users of a 6-month Fixed-Term Membership receive 1 additional bonus Report Voucher. Here, joining means making a payment while not using a Membership (including joining again after a Membership has ended). No bonus is received when the user purchases again or switches to a different type while using a Membership, or when a Subscription renews (including when a Subscription continues because payment is made again after a payment failure).
3. Report Vouchers received through a Membership accumulate while the Membership continues. If the Membership ends because it is not renewed or its period expires, the Report Vouchers can still be used for 30 days from the end date and then expire. When no renewal is scheduled and the Membership will finally end, the Company notifies users on the Service screen and through notifications 3 days before expiry, after the Membership has actually ended, and 3 days before the Report Vouchers expire.
4. If a user receives a refund for a Membership, or cancels it during the usage period and receives part of the fee back, any remaining Report Vouchers expire immediately.
5. If the same account uses Memberships from multiple payment channels (web and Google Play) at the same time, the usage period of each channel is calculated separately, and the Membership continues until the period that ends last. Benefits apply only once, and Report Vouchers are granted at 1 per month per account.
6. The Company may change Membership benefits as needed for operations, and will announce the changes and their effective date in accordance with the procedure in Article 3. Changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days before the effective date and notified to users individually, and will not apply to usage periods already paid for.

Article 9-3 (Recurring Payment)

1. A Membership Subscription is paid automatically in each billing cycle using the payment method registered by the user. When a user applies for a Subscription, the Company displays the fee, the billing cycle, the next payment date, and how to cancel.
2. For a Subscription with a first-month discount, the Company displays the discount price, the regular price, and the date from which the regular price applies at the time of application, and obtains the user's consent to automatic payment at the regular price.
3. If the payment amount for a web Subscription increases or free use changes to paid Recurring Payment, the Company gives advance notice of the changes, effective date, and amount by email or other means and obtains the user's consent as required by applicable law. For the first automatic payment at the regular price after a first-month discount, the Company gives notice 7 days before payment.
4. Users may cancel the next renewal at any time in My Page. If a user cancels, no further payment is charged from the next payment date onward, and the user can keep using the Membership until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds for cancellation during the usage period follow the Refund Policy.
5. If an automatic payment fails, the Company notifies the user and retries the payment on the day after the date of the failure, 3 days after the date of the failure, and 7 days after the date of the failure. While retries are in progress, the user may continue to use the Membership benefits as before. However, the Report Voucher for the new month is granted only after the payment succeeds. If the last retry also fails, the Membership ends, and this ending is deemed an ending under Article 9-2(3) (Report Vouchers can be used for 30 days).
6. Payment, renewal notices, and cancellation for Google Play Subscriptions follow the procedures set by Google Play.

Article 9-4 (Vouchers, Top-up Bonuses, and Unlimited Cosmos Pass)

1. A Report Voucher is used only when the user chooses to use it on the confirmation screen before generating a Report. 1 Report Voucher generates 1 Report.
2. One Cosmos Ticket is used per Cosmos question.
3. Report Vouchers and Cosmos Tickets received through events or rewards are valid for the period notified when they are granted (1 year from the grant date if no period is notified). Report Vouchers received through a Membership are governed by Article 9-2(3) and (4). Vouchers with the earliest expiry date are used first.
4. A Top-up Bonus applies when a Star Flakes product is paid for within the period and the number of uses notified when the Top-up Bonus is granted. If more than one Top-up Bonus is available for a single payment, the user selects one to apply.
5. The Unlimited Cosmos Pass (1 day) can be used for 24 hours from the time of purchase.
6. Vouchers and Top-up Bonuses cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash or Star Flakes.
7. If a payment through which Vouchers or a Top-up Bonus were received is refunded, the Company reclaims any remaining Vouchers and Top-up Bonus Star Flakes received through that payment. If it is confirmed that any Vouchers or Top-up Bonuses were received by fraudulent means, the Company may reclaim them, including those already used.
8. The first-purchase Top-up Bonus offered by the Company after sign-up and the invitation Top-up Bonus under paragraph (9) apply only to members who have never purchased Star Flakes. A member who has paid for other products, such as a Membership or a direct payment, can still receive them if they have never purchased Star Flakes.
9. Invitations: A member may register another member's invite code before purchasing Star Flakes. A member who has registered an invite code receives a Top-up Bonus of 50% of the base quantity of the product when they first purchase Star Flakes within 30 days from the registration date. Under paragraph (4), this Top-up Bonus cannot be combined with another Top-up Bonus. The inviting member receives 1 Report Voucher when the invited member makes their first paid Report after registering the code (a Report made with Star Flakes after purchasing Star Flakes, or made through Direct Report Payment), for up to 10 invited members per calendar month (Korea time). This benefit is not granted if the invited member made a paid Report before registering the code. If it is confirmed that a member has invited themselves (for example, by using the same device or the same payment method), no benefit is granted. If the invited member receives a refund of the payment on which the benefit was based, the inviting member's Report Voucher is not granted or, if already granted, any remaining Voucher is reclaimed.

Article 9-5 (Direct Report Payment)

1. On the confirmation screen before generating a Report, the user may directly pay the price of 1 Report instead of using Star Flakes or Vouchers. The price is displayed before payment.
2. When the payment is completed, the Company grants 1 Report Voucher that can be used only for that 1 Report (hereinafter a "Purchased Voucher") and, notwithstanding Article 9-4(1) and (3), immediately uses it first to generate that Report.
3. If generation fails due to a technical error, the Purchased Voucher is returned to the user and can be used when the same Report is generated again. A Purchased Voucher is valid for 1 year from the payment date.
4. A Purchased Voucher cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash or Star Flakes. If the payment is refunded, the Company reclaims any remaining Purchased Voucher.

Article 9-6 (Charts for Another Date)

1. A Chart for Another Date is a product that opens the chart for one date and time other than the present on Current Sky, My Transits, or the Progressed Chart. For Current Sky and My Transits, the date and time is a date and a time (to the minute); for the Progressed Chart, it is a date (based on noon of that day). Current Sky and My Transits for the present time and the Progressed Chart for today's date can be viewed free of charge.
2. Charts for Another Date are purchased separately for each date and time: Current Sky for each account, and My Transits and the Progressed Chart for each traveler profile.
3. Members can purchase a Chart for Another Date for 10 Star Flakes. On the web, it can also be purchased by direct payment (KRW 990 in Korea, US$0.99 outside Korea); direct payment is offered from a date determined by the Company. The price is displayed before purchase.
4. Report Vouchers (including a Purchased Voucher under Article 9-5) cannot be used to open a Chart for Another Date.
5. A purchased Chart for Another Date can be viewed again with no time limit and remains in the list of opened dates on the Service screen.
6. Membership users can open charts for any date and time at no additional cost during their Membership usage period. The same applies to users with time remaining on an Unlimited Pass (7-day or 30-day) previously sold by the Company. Dates and times opened free of charge in this way are not treated as purchases, so they do not remain in the list of opened dates and can no longer be viewed when the Membership or Unlimited Pass period ends.
7. A Chart for Another Date for the Progressed Chart can be purchased or used only for a traveler profile with a birth time entered.
8. The Birth Chart is provided in full free of charge and is not sold as a Chart for Another Date.
9. A Chart for Another Date purchased by direct payment is digital content whose provision begins upon payment, so withdrawal of the order is restricted; the Company displays this before payment and obtains your consent. Other refunds and restoration follow Section 4.6 of the Refund Policy.

Article 10 (User Obligations)

1. Users must not engage in the following acts:
   • Registering false information when applying or making changes
   • Stealing another person's information
   • Altering information posted by the Company
   • Sending or posting information other than that specified by the Company (such as computer programs)
   • Infringing on intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company and other third parties
   • Acts that damage the reputation of the Company and other third parties or interfere with their business
   • Disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information that violates public order and morals on the Service
   • Intentionally interfering with the operation of the Service
   • Using automated means to access the Service or collect data
2. Users must comply with relevant laws and regulations, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines and notices related to the Service, matters notified by the Company, etc., and must not engage in acts that interfere with the Company's business.
3. When you register another person's information (such as their name, date of birth, and time and place of birth) as a Traveler, you must inform that person and obtain their consent.

Article 11 (Restriction and Suspension of Service Use)

1. The Company may gradually restrict service use through warnings, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, etc., if a user violates the obligations of these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company may immediately permanently suspend service use if related laws are violated, such as providing and interfering with the operation of illegal programs in violation of the Copyright Act, illegal communication and hacking in violation of the Information and Communications Network Act, distribution of malicious programs, and exceeding access rights.
3. The Company may restrict use to protect member information and improve operational efficiency if a user does not log in continuously for 3 months or more.

Article 12 (Company Obligations)

1. The Company does not engage in acts prohibited by laws and these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and strives to provide services continuously and stably in accordance with the provisions of these Terms.
2. The Company establishes a security system to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can safely use Internet services.
3. The Company does not send commercial promotional messages (email or app notifications) to users who have not opted in. You can withdraw your consent at any time in My Page > Settings or via the unsubscribe link in any promotional email. Promotional messages are marked as advertising at the start of the subject in accordance with applicable law and are not sent between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. (Korea time).
4. The Company sends Star news emails (informational emails about changes in your chart and the sky) only if you have turned them on in My Page > Settings. You can turn them off at any time in the same settings or via the unsubscribe link in the email.

Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)

1. The Company is exempt from liability regarding service provision when it cannot provide services due to natural disasters or similar force majeure.
2. The Company is not liable for service use disruptions caused by the user's fault.
3. The Company is not liable for the reliability, accuracy, etc., of information, materials, and facts posted by users in relation to the Service.
4. The Company is exempt from liability when transactions, etc., are conducted between users or between users and third parties through the Service.
5. Destiny Reports are reference materials generated using AI technology, and the Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of their content.

Article 14 (Disclaimer)

1. This Service is provided for entertainment and reference purposes only.
2. The Company assumes no responsibility for users' decisions and their results based on information provided through the Service.
3. All content of the Service is automatically generated using AI technology, so it does not accurately predict an individual's actual destiny or future.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

1. The Company establishes and operates a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and process compensation for damages.
2. The Company prioritizes processing complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the Company immediately notifies the user of the reason and processing schedule.
3. If there is a user's request for damage relief regarding e-commerce disputes that occur between the Company and users, it may follow the mediation of a dispute mediation organization requested by the Fair Trade Commission or city/provincial governors.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

1. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to the interpretation of these Terms and disputes between the Company and users.
2. If a lawsuit is filed regarding disputes arising from the use of the Service, it shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
3. These Terms are written in Korean and English, and versions in other languages are translations provided for convenience. If the language versions differ, the Korean version prevails for users residing in the Republic of Korea, and the English version prevails for all other users. However, where the relevant laws provide rules more favorable to users, those rules apply.
