Angles between your planets
All angles between the two of you are found, from the Sun to Pluto plus the nodes, Chiron and Lilith. Each one is marked harmonious, challenging or neutral. A conjunction can count as harmonious or challenging depending on the two planets that meet.
How the compatibility score is made
The more harmonious aspects, the higher the score; the more challenging aspects, the lower it goes, a little. Neutral aspects also raise it slightly. A harmonious aspect counts twice as much as a challenging one. In practice, most scores fall between 77 and 88.
A lower score doesn't mean a bad relationship. Challenging aspects are also where you grow by adjusting to each other.
What the score is based on
The compatibility screen shows the 5 most exact angles (smallest orbs) as its basis. If both of you have a birth time, it also shows which house of the other's chart each person's Sun and Moon fall into.
House overlay
A way of seeing which house of one person's chart the other person's planets fall into. It shows which area of your life the other person touches. It needs both birth times to be accurate.
How the report picks contacts
The synastry report doesn't rank angles by orb alone. It weighs the importance of the planets, the strength of the aspect and the orb together. Angles between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are left out, because anyone close in age shares them as 'generational' aspects.
Composite

A relationship chart made by combining two charts. It shows the third energy formed when two people meet.
Stellog sets the composite Sun, Moon and Ascendant from the midpoints of the two people's Sun, Moon and Ascendant. If either person's birth time is unknown, the composite Ascendant is left empty.
Relationship type
When you connect with a friend through a link, a relationship type is also set from the planet theme that stands out most between you. Details are in the Signature Sign article.
